Hormone Balancing Summer Slaw

Make and bring this Colorful Hormone Balancing Summer Slaw to Your Next Weekend Gathering!

If you missed my July 4th Facebook Live recipe (don’t mind the brief tripod snafu 🤦🏻‍♀️), then you missed how easy this hormone balancing, keto friendly slaw is!

Here’s the recipe!

Salad Base:
6 cups shredded slaw mix (I used a mix of bagged shaved Brussels, shredded broccoli, cabbage and a little bit of carrot)
1 cup thinly sliced onion (I used red)
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 cup chopped cilantro or herb or choice
1/2 cup seeds (I used pumpkin and sunflower seeds – you could also use chopped nuts)

Dressing:
1/2 cup avocado or olive oil
2 T nut or seed Butter ( I used unsweetened sunflower butter)
2 T coconut aminos or tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
1 t red curry paste (I used Thai Kitchen)
Lemon and or lime juice to taste
Cumin to taste
Kelp flakes to taste (optional)
Salt to taste
Sesame seed blend (optional)

Mix dressing ingredients and pour onto salad ingredients. Mix well. Add more seeds and cilantro if desired. Adjust seasonings..Chill and serve!
