Some health insurances, HR Departments, Health Savings Accounts (HSA’ s), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA’s) accept Nutrition Services as reimbursable expenses. Certain conditions must be met. You may be eligible to receive a full or partial reimbursement. In order to determine your eligibility I recommend the following:
1. Ask your doctor to complete a letter of medical necessity or write a prescription. (Template below)
2. Once you purchase a session or package, print your receipt (it will be emailed to you).
3. Submit the signed letter of medical necessity or prescription to your health insurance provider for reimbursement.
Most of FSA/HSA/HRA credit cards will not go through my payment site because of how the card issuer codes the cards, but you can submit your receipts to your insurance provider for reimbursement afterward.
